What Causes Itching Sensation In The Vagina And Rectal Area?

Hi.I am texting because I have itching of the Virginia,skin area,and rectum area.I ve had this for a while and my doctor s don t know what is causing this.I even see a dermatologist for this problem.it s been about 6 months now.I take several medications.could this maybe be the problem.can you help.the itching is very irritating.Thanks.

Hello,

Most probably it will be a fungal infection. As of now, you can use clotrimazole lotion to cleanse your genitals.

Apply clotrimazole ointment in the perianal area. Good personal hygiene is important.
If lesion persists better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
