What Causes Itching Sensation In Vagina And Soreness?

I am having vaginal itching and soreness down there I thought it was the begging of a herpes breakout again so I took my meds but the itching and sentiveness is still there. Its driving me crazy I also have these weird like long scratch marks. Help!? I m 19.

Welcome to healthcaremagic.com In regards to the itching, I would have you tested for an infection, weather sexually transmitted or otherwise. There is no substitute,we have to rule out an infection before looking for rarer causes. As for the scratch marks, where are they, and are you scratching yourself even while you sleep because of the itching? Maybe. However, at the time of your testing for an infection, the marks can be seen by a health professional as we are obviously not able to give you the best advise without seeing them. I hope this helps.
