General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your ALP (Alkaline Phosphatase) level is on the higher side. High ALP levels are indicative of some developing pathology in the liver (Hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, liver cancer) or gallbladder (blockade in the bile ducts or gallstones).

Visit ER, get assessed & treated at the earliest. Neglect will result in worsening of symptoms(nausea, itching, fatigue, abdominal swelling & pain, dark urine).

Your treatment will depend upon the disease detected & its severity. In the meantime, take vitamin D supplements & food rich in vitamin D. Take milk, cashew nuts.

Avoid food that raise ALP, like food rich in zinc, phosphorus, oily fatty food, vitamin B12 & Vitamin A. Take easily digestible home made boiled food.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
