Hello,
Your ALP (
Alkaline Phosphatase) level is on the higher side. High ALP levels are indicative of some developing pathology in the liver (
Hepatitis, liver cirrhosis,
liver cancer) or
gallbladder (blockade in the bile ducts or gallstones).
Visit ER, get assessed & treated at the earliest. Neglect will result in worsening of symptoms(nausea, itching, fatigue, abdominal swelling & pain, dark urine).
Your treatment will depend upon the disease detected & its severity. In the meantime, take vitamin D supplements & food rich in vitamin D. Take milk, cashew nuts.
Avoid food that raise ALP, like food rich in zinc, phosphorus, oily fatty food,
vitamin B12 & Vitamin A. Take easily digestible home made boiled food.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
