What Causes Itching Sensation Under The Skin Post Showers?

I have a lot of itching like right under my skin after showers. The reason I say it s right under my skin, is because when I scratch my legs it does not help. It s like you can t reach it. Someone told me it was just dry skin, because I am 58 yrs old. Any suggestions?

Hello dear,
Thanks for ur query.

I think it might be a allergic reaction.

It can occur in many condition. incase of your point of view the allergant might be-
1.temperature of water,
2.Soap or shampoo used in shower,
3.water itself for its any ingredient if have,
4.due to dry skin.

you can try with change the above situation.
And use a systemic antihistamine,
use an emollient to keep moist ur skin.
