What Causes Itching Sensation,swelling And Pain Inside Belly Button?
My son is 7 and his belly button started off itching a lot and I ve noticed last night it was a little bit swollen on the inside on the left side of it and he says now when I push on his belly button and around it that it hurts a little, I don t know what to do, he s not had a fever or vomiting or any other sickness symptom for that matter, he s just complaining of his belly button hurting and itching, I did try dipping a q tip in peroxide and kinda rolling it around inside of his belly button and the q tip pulled out some off white colored stuff, can you help me should I take him to the er? Can this be something deadly serious?
