What Causes Itchy And Inflamed Blisters On The Hands?

My hands at times break out in an inflamed area that is really small blisters under my skin. It is very itchy. And it takes a long time to heal. the itching keeps me awake at night- I use benadryl lotion to calm the itiching. What does this symptom imply? It feels like an allergic reaction to something. I sometimes take an antihistamine and it helps me sleep. what could this be?

Hi,

As per your query you have itchy and inflamed blisters on the hands which seems to be due to allergic reaction, hormonal imbalance and impaired immunity of body.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics along with anti inflammatory medications. You should avoid use of any hard cosmetics on hands. For now apply cold compresses, apply petroleum jelly and apply over the counter antibiotics ointment. You should avoid touching or pricking blisters on fingers. Maintain complete hygiene.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
