What Causes Itchy And Swollen Anus With Yellow Lumps?

Hi I have a very itchy dry anus and it feels swollen too. Also I had a look in the mirror and I can see two or three yello lumps the size of spots but I can actualy feel that they are there. I am worried I might have an STD ? I went to the doctors last year and they said it was nothing to worry about . can you shed any light on this?

The symptoms you described and history of your medical illness, clearly suggest that you are suffering from Hemorrhoids (Piles).

Its main reason is portal hypertension that causes swelling of the veins in rectum and anus ( you are calling them the yellow lumps). This leads to itching, feeling of dryness and sometimes bleeding ( fresh red blood along with defecation).

Avoid constipation. If any, take lactulose syrup. Take plenty of fluids and keep a balanced healthy diet with a lot of dietary fiber.

Consult a General surgeon right away for proper evaluation and treatment. Hemorrhoids needs to be categorized before treatment, as all categories are treated differently.
