Blister on finger may be due to different causes. This is most likely to be due to fungal infections. Try topical antifungal ointment locally twice daily for atleast 10days. Keep the finger dry. Maintain hygiene. You can try tab levocetrizine 10mg once daily to get relieved from iching. Same treatment can be followed by your mother too. A high blood sugar may cause delayed relief from such infection. Blood sugar estimation is also recommended.
If the symptoms persist and rather increasing you may have to visit a doctor to get a proper diagnosis. You may have been asked to do some investigations too.
