I have been off the drug anastrozole for 2 weeks (Dr. s orders.) because I had patches of dry, itchy skin with blisters that formed on all four (lower and upper) extremeties. I found Aveeno with oatmeal which eased the itching and dried the blisters. My bones hurt and I am tired.I also experienced dizziness and chest pain. Yesterday I developed a subcutaneous swelling about the size of a robin s egg, painful and exuding heat below my right elbow. Blood tests show infection so I am on a pennicillin type drug. Could these be side effects of that drug. If so, how long before I get back to normal?
