What Causes Itchy Body And Erectile Dysfunction While On Medication For Diabetes?
Good afternoon Dr. I am 57. For about last 15 years I am suffering from diabetes and blood pressure. My Dr.has changed my medicine and for some months now I am under a new set of medicines:Glycomet trio 2, Ziten 20, Glycomet gp forte .5 and Olmin trio 20 -each a day. Now both my BP and Diabetes are normal. But suddenly in recent times I am facing ED problem. Again the body is itching. This I feel is happening after taking these medicines. Pl advise me what to do.
The itching may indicate that you may be allergic to one or more of the medications. Itching can also be due to different possible causes as well such as:(1) allergic reaction to some other substance or material (2)thyroid disease (3)liver or kidney disease (4)infection such as lice, scabies, chicken pox (5)iron deficiency (6)diabetes itself can sometimes also be associated with itching
It may be best to see your doctor or a dermatologist (doctor specializing in the skin) to see what is the likely cause.
I hope this helps
