Hello,

Fluconazole is an antifungal medication and the symptoms of severe itching, rashes, swollen lips, pins and needles in tongue are all appearing to be due to allergic reaction to Fluconazole and as you are continuously taking the medicine the symptoms are recurring once the effect of the anti-allergic Benadryl weans off.

You need to consult your physician, get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like blood test can help in diagnosis. In case if it is due to medication then changing the drug will help in relieving the symptoms. As of now you need to continue taking anti-allergics like Benadryl and do cool compresses over the lips. Apply Calamine lotion over the rashes and itchy areas to soothe the skin.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Honey Arora
