What Causes Itchy Bruise And Purple Rash On Arms And Legs?

i woke up yesterday with approximately 12 bruises on my arms and legs ranging from the size of a dime and light blue to the size of a grapefruit and black. They all itch and I have not done anything to cause the bruises. Extreme dizziness for three days now and just a general feeling of not being well nor being rested. Also my arms and legs have some lace like purple rash now.

Hello,

Whenever I have had patients with bruising such as this or unexplained dizziness I do become concerned. I would usually ask if you are taking any new medications or are on any medications that are used to thin your blood, however I would ask in this case for you to go to the nearest Emergency Department for an evaluation. I have had cases where patients presenting like this had issues with their blood being too thin and this caused their busing and their dizziness. Please if you would, go to the nearest ER to be evaluated.
