What Causes Itchy Bruise On Inside Of Upper Thigh?
Greetings Sir / Madam,
I writing to ask; I have this bruise like thing (black / brown) on the inside of my upper-right thigh with is incredibly itchy. I was wondering what this could be & whether I should be worried or not?
Dear I can understand your concern . I would like to inform you that this is very common site for tinea infection . It's a type of fungal infection . The lesions are very well defined raised areas which are very pruritic. That is it itches a lot. Apart form this there are few other causes , that we can diagnose only after looking at that. For fungal infection you maintain local hygiene and use antifungal ointment. But for any skin lesion it is always better to get it checked by dermatologist . Hope this will help . If you have any other concerns please feel free to message me . Thanks for contacting HCM .
