What Causes Itchy Bump On Buttocks?

Hi, Recently I noticed I had an itch with a small bump on my left buttocks, it appearing to be caused by an insect bite. I scratched it and it had swollen. The next day I noticed it was sore to sit down even on cushioned seats. The lump is now harder almost like a hard cyst about the size of a grape. It does not itch anymore but it s really sore. I almost thought it might have been a pimple and I tried to pop it. I realize trying to squeeze it may have caused more swelling, however the grape like hard cyst still remains. This has been going on for about 4-5 days now and I m thinking I should see a doctor. If it was an insect bite my guess would be mosquito or spider. Please advice on if I should seek further medical assistance, because if i don t, it will save me a lot of time and money. Thanks

Well come to HCM,
I really appreciate your concern, such skin eruption may not be insect bite but this could be some hypersensitive reaction in my opinion just wait for some time and this would be fine if not then it can be tried with "Tab Levocetirizine 10 mg three times in day, hope this helps take care and have a nice day
