What Causes Itchy Bumps On Scalp After Dying Hair?

I dyed my hair at my usual salon almost two weeks ago. They used permanent color vs. semipermanent color to attempt to color over my greys. I ve experienced intense itchiness and soreness as well as some small bumps on my scalp since that time. Is there anythingni can do to help relieve these symptoms?

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I have read your description and understand your concern.
Appearance of itchy bumps on the scalp after dyeing hair is possibly due to allergic reaction to some ingredient used in the dye.
Kindly wash your scalp thoroughly with warm water and mild medicated shampoo. After drying, apply Neomycin with Hydrocortisone cream topically over the lesions. Take Tablet. Levocetrizine once a day to control itching.
Gradually, the symptoms should subside and be back to normal.
Kindly take care not to use such brands when you are dyeing your hair next time.
