What Causes Itchy Bumps On The Fingers?

After my boyfriend fingers me, his finger gets itchy and gets a small bump on his finger the next day. I don t have any std s but I have had a history of yeast infections in the past. I haven t had one in about a year. Other than him fingering me, we don t have sex. What could be the problem?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I understand your concern.

Vaginal yeast infection can alter the pH and all vaginal mucosa. When your boyfriend fingered you, this can alter his skin microflora too explaining his finger got itchy (I think he might have any damaged skin locally that was easily infected).

I advise to:
- wash his hand especially fingers with warm water and soap
- apply oxygenated water and betaine

If this won't help, please apply miconazole cream locally (can find over the counter).

Wish fast recovery.
