What Causes Itchy Bumps On The Hands After Blood Donation?
I gave blood on Sunday morning, later that night I had a red bumpy rash near the area that the needle was now it is Friday and the rash is further down my arm closer to my forearm. I was alo bitten by something in several spots on the same side of my body that day. I woke up with 3 bite marks on my left arm 3 near my left hip/thigh nod 3 bites on my buttocks same side. Is the red bumpy rash cause from the blood donation or some other reaction? The bumps are small, itchy and seem to have moved down my arm and the bite marks are going away with cortisone cream. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Robin

It might be some allergic eruption, you can take antihistamines like Pheniramine for symptomatic relief.
