What Causes Itchy Dark Marks On Face After Discontinuing Panderm Plus Cream?

Hello doctor, I was using panderm plus ointment for more than 5 to 6 months where in my face was good without pimples and scars, now since a month i stopped using the cream now my face is become too dark , darker than my actual colour and also there is too much of itchinh and marks pimples its horrible to look at my face.face. Please help me

Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. As per your query as Panderm Plus cream contain ofloxacin, ornidazole, terbinafine and clobetasol (very potent steroid), so should not be used for more than 2 weeks. But you are using it from very long time,which produce atrophy of skin and cause rosacea like condition.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you immediately stop using this cream otherwise it will make your condition more complicated and consult dermatologist for proper examination .Doctor may prescribe creams containing kojic acid which is a non steroidal cream and very effective in treating hyperpigmentation. For now what you can do is start using aloe vera cream which natural and help you in treating darkness of skin and skin redness and use sunscreen with SPF 30 in the day time.
