What Causes Itchy Eyes, Runny Nose And Sore Throat While Taking Azathioprine Tablets?

I've recently started taking aziathiorpine (50mg) only been on them the last two weeks, but have been feeling unwell like symptoms of hayfever, ithcy eyes, runny nose, sore throat, but the last two days i feel really unwell, same symptoms plus throbbing headache, aching all over my body,, is it hayfever or the tablets?

Hello
You are taking "AZATHIOPRINE" 50 mg since 2 weeks , so please note down the side effects of this drug as this is an immunosuppresants drug, these are:
FEVER, CHILLS, bone marrow depression characterized by leucopenia, thrombocytopenia or anemia , nausea , anorexia , HEADACHE, ARTHRALGIA, diarrhea, RASH, alopecia, myelosuppression, mutagenicity & carcinogenecity, veno-occlusive liver disease.
You may have hay fever but we can't rule out the side effect of this drug .
In my opinion consult your treating physician and get his opinion as sore throat also present so physical examination will find out the exact type of disorder.
