What Causes Itchy Eyes?

I was driving to work and all of a sudden I had an extreme itch in my right eye. I rubbed is slightly and there was intense stinging. then I felt a pop and now I have what looks like an exploded blood vessel. There is a large blood spot and it is causing discomfort

Hello,

Looks like you had allergic response to dust in your eyes which caused conjunctivitis. Take azelastine eye drops 1 drop in each eye, twice a day. it gets resolved and methylcellulose eye drops at night.
