What Causes Itchy Feet And Hands After Taking Amoxycillin?

I'm a 34 yr of female and have taken my first dose of Amoxycillin 500mg 3 1/2 hours ago. I've taken it in the past and never had any reaction, but I've got uncontrollable itchy feet and hands. Is it a reaction to the amoxycillin? and if so why would I get a reaction when I never have before? I'm also taking 100mg pristiq daily.

As per your complain Amoxicillin is a Penicillin group of antibiotic and is used to treat a wide range of Bacterial infections and Pritiq cantains active ingredient [Desvenlafaxine Succinate] and is used to treat depression..
When both these medicines are taken together there is a negative interaction between the two drugs which means that one drug will deplete or alter the action of the other drug and in your case also amoxicillin is showing adverse reaction due to interaction with Pristique..
You should consult your treating physician and discuss your symptoms so that he can advise an alternative drug for you so that you do not get discomfort..
