Had a case of what hubby said was lice both my son an I only the bugs were a half of in long. Seams to big if you ask me. Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. What problems your son is having could be due to seborrhic dermatitis of scalp. Kindly do the following to overcome it. 1. Use alternate days shampoo containing coal tar or salicylic acid. 2. Use shampoo containg Ketoconazole twice a week. 3. Use shampoo containing Selenium and Zinc once a week. 4. Protect from direct sunlight by wearing a clean cap or using umbrella. 5. To control itching, he can take Tablet. Levocetrizine once a day. The lesions should subside in a month time.
