What Causes Itchy Hives On The Arms After Taking Olmesartan?

Am taking hydroxychloroquine 200 mg. with olmesartan medoxom il 40mg tab and have been expierencing itching & hives on arms and itching most part of body. any idea if the hydroxychoroquine can cause this because I ve been taking benicar 40mg before the olmesartan medoxom for abt 20 yrs. & I was just given the o.m. 2 mos ago. l

olmisartan is a good drug used to do took hypertension.... but very rare cases it cause rashes, hives... if this kind if skin reactions occur then stop talking it and talk to your doctor... may be u are allergic to it
