What Causes Itchy Little Red Spots From The Shoulders To The Knees?

from my shoulders to my knees there are little red spots that itch like crazy. Have treated my bed for bed bugs, and fleas. I also had someone else sleep in my bed for about a week, no itching. I have not switched soaps, or medicine, etc. It s been three months now and i am real tired of it. I can t sleep, or go out in public for fear of itching

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It can be dermatitis like inflammation of skin.

You can apply calamine lotion over that red spots.

Oral steroid or antihistaminic need to be prescribed in such case.

Wear loose cotton cloths and wash cloth regularly.

If no improvement than consult dermatologist for detailed evaluation.

Hope I have answered your question

Let me know if I can assist you further
