What Causes Itchy Lumps On Back And Abdomen Of A Child?

My seven year old daughter started breaking out in bumps on her back. Today I noticed that they have spread and is appearing on her stomach as well. She complains of it itching. What are some things it could possibly be or what could I try to relieve the itch.

Thank you for your query.
Chicken pox, Insect bites, allergies need to be ruled out.
Depends on what type of bumps the are and associated symptoms like fever or fatigue or flu like symptoms.
Did she have chicken pox earlier?
was she exposed to any bugs or insects and anything like poison ivy?
is she allergic to any food?
I recommend seeing her paediatrician for a proper diagnosis.
itching could be relieved by cooling the area. like a cool wash cloth. cotton clothes. avoid heat or sunlight.
if the bumps are not open wound calamine could help as well

hope this helps,
wish you both good health
