What Causes Itchy Lumps On The Back While On Methadone?

The last two times i have been in the sun i have developed these horriable bumps covering my back the hurt an itch soooo very bad the only two thing i can say either have changed or just a coincidence both time i have been on period when i have been in sun an this happened an the otheri have been taking 10mg of methdone a day

Hi,

Methadone probably not cause photosensitivity. But it is possible if you're allergic to the methadone drug. Other possibilities like photosensitivity or an allergic skin rash to the drugs or skin Infection etc.

Just Change the medicine and see once. use antihistamine and sun protection cream. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
