I have an itchy clit hood. I wore some new sweats to the gym for hours and fell asleep in them when i got home. Im really hoping these bumps came from just this and that theyll go away. Im not sexually active but i will be when my bf is home next month. Its only on my clit please help. It is only itchy and does not hurt so it might be contact dermitis my mom said but i need a doctors opinion now.
noted history of itchy lumps over the clitoris area. it may be folliculitis, which usually occurs after shaving or when hair is accidentally pulled out from the area. this resolves spontaneously, unless it gets infected. it may also be a hypersensitivity reaction. lesions, such as cystic formation, must also be ruled-out. it is best if you consult with a doctor, preferably a gynecologist, for physical examination and clinical evaluation. avoid manipulation of the area and maintain good hygiene. diagnostics and management will be directed accordingly.
hope this helps.
good day!!
