What Causes Itchy Patches On Chest?

Hi Doctor I had itching strarted in my breast and I started getting patches. When I consulted a Dermatologist, I was told that It could be Tinea Cruris and I was suggested with Onabet cream for a week and powder there after. But once I started the cream, it showed some relief. But after I started using the powder, I did not see any symptom of complete curing. It again started like before. I also had Flucanazole for 4 weeks(1 tab per week). I am afraid, whether it could be something else. Could you please tell me a solution

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Fungal infection can take a long time to resolve. It can take a few weeks in some cases.
The fact that it has not resolved as well does not mean that it is anything serious.

It is possible that there is a bacterial infection along with the fungal infection , this can sometimes occur.
In this case, you would need an antibiotic as well.

I hope this helps
