What Causes Itchy Pimples On Body?

I have itchy skin. It starts sometimes as a little red pimple or a few, i scratch and red patches appear. I cant stop scratching. My arms, legs, under butt cheeks, thighs, inner thighs, chest, breast area....I scratch and sores appear because I am scratching. My dr took a swab and nothing was found. What do you recommend
