Hi doctor.... I will get a single rash near inner thighs first and then it turns into a round ring patch and its very itchy doctor suggested me kz cream and hh sole cream what problem is this ? I have this problem since 3years if I start to use these creams it ll go for some days and again it will start why this s so? Pls answer me
Hi & Welcome. I appreciate your concern for the itchy rash near inner thighs.
The typical rash is suggestive of a fungal infection of the skin.
Fungi grow in warm, moist areas of the inner thighs and due to excessive friction while walking or running a fungal infection can develop easily. I would advise you to take Miconazole or Terbinafine containing creams.
Following measures are useful in the preventing the recurrence:
Keep the affected area dry and clean Do not use any disinfectant on the skin or in the bath water this can irritate the skin. Wear loose cotton underwear. Avoid tights and elastic ‘shapewear’ underwear, because they encourage sweating and moistness in the inner thighs Avoid anything that keeps the thighs close together.
Hope to have answered your query.
Take care of your health.
