What Causes Itchy Rashes All Over The Body Along With Dry Skin?

have a rash that is all over the body with the exception of the face. it itches, is not raised or blistered. I have had it looked at by several drs., however the diagnosis is always different. one says he thinks it is a fungus, another believes it is something else little red dots I have used dandruff shampoo and steroids and nothing seems to touch it. I am also very tired all the time; it is an effort to make it through the day; although I don t sleep more than 6-7 hours each day. I seem to have dry skin. I would like to not feel tired all the time and have enough stamina to get through a day without resting (sitting) for 30 min out of an hour

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Welcome to healthcaremagic.com!

I really appreciate your concern. From your description I suspect you having cholinergic urticaria. It would be controlled by simple antihistminic drugs like levocetrizine. If it is very serious then Mast cell stabilizers could be of help.

Hope my answer has solved your query. Take Care.

Thank you.

Best Regards.
Dr. Manan
