What Causes Itchy Rashes At The Place Of Injection After Dog Bite?

Hi,I was bitten by dog recently and was treated with RIB Serum and Vaccine immediately. I have completed my second dose also (day 3). Suddenly I am having some rashes in places where RIB serum was injected and it is bit itchy. Is it normal or should I consult a doctor? Thanks,Praveen

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that you may be experiencing an allergic reaction to the injection if the changes are occurring at the site only.

The use of an oral anti histamine would help to decrease any allergic reaction. These should be available over the counter at your local pharmacy.

You should inform your doctor about the reaction so that he or she may make a note of it.

I hope this helps
