What Causes Itchy Rashes Like Chicken Pox On Arms, legs And Shoulders?
I have a itchy rash looks similar to chicken pox however isn t as blistery and does not scab over new spots are erupting daily dotted around on arms legs shoulders behind knees a few on back and breaststroke starting to get tingly skin similar to pins and needles
Itchy rashes are commonly due to scabies. You are suggested to apply lotion Ascabiol in the area affected. Leave it for 40 - 45 minutes & then take a shower.
Repeat this after 15 days, if its scabies it will go away. Wash all your clothes & bedding in the hot water, do not share your toiletries. Avoid sex for a couple days. You can apply hydrocortisone cream to prevent redness, swelling, itching, and discomfort.
You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP or dermatologist. Get all required tests done so that the treatment can be started at the earliest. In the meantime you can take vitamin B6, B12 & vitamin E rich food or supplements.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K
