What Causes Itchy Rashes On Mid Back And Lower Back?
I developed a rash in my mid back and lower back . It just looked like if I had been scratched not bleeding but it was very itchy..I put cortizone and it stopped woke up this morning I was fine I put a bra on and it started itching again could it be an allergic reaction to detergent
Rashes due to bra strap is commonly because your skin is sensitive and your bra is dirty, it has not been washed properly. Wash your bra in hot water frequently, let the sweat and allergens get washed out, dry it in sunlight.
You can take antihistamines, one SOS when required for relieve from rashes and apply Clotrimazole cream in the affected area. Take regular showers with medicated soap, do not use fragrant soaps or any type of chemical cosmetics.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
