What Causes Itchy Rashes On My Abdomen After Appendectomy?

Hi, i had an apendectomy on thursday and had a rash of what looks like hundreds of pimples across my abdomen erupt on Saturday. They are itchy and only have apppeared from the waist up, but below my pectoral muscles. any idea what this is or how to help it?
