What Causes Itchy Rashes On The Body After Taking Cifran Tablet?
I have been adviced to take tablets cifran for urinary tract infection by the doctor. The second day after taking the tablet, I find rashes on my body, which is itching. Is it due to the reaction of the medicine? Pl. advice me accordingly,for which I will be greatful to you

This seems to due to allergic reaction to the prescribed antibiotic Cifran (Ciprofloxacin). In addition to rashes with itching it can also cause photosensitivity reaction on the skin. Consult your treating doctor for an alternate but a safer antibiotic to treat urinary tract infection.
