What Causes Itchy Rashes On The Thighs And Calf?
My boss recent took a trip to central Mexico, near Mexico City. He has since developed a red itchy rash on his calves and thighs. he is worried that it may be some kind of virus. he has no fever just an Out of it , spaced out feeling. Could it be viral or contagious?

Itchy rashes on thigh and calf is mostly due to some sort of fungal infection nothing else. For treatment he can take some antibiotic like cefadroxyl or doxycycline after an expert advice along with cetrizine or avil for itching. He can use clobit-gm or valnerate-c cream for local application.
