What Causes Itchy Red Bumps On The Legs And Shoulders After Taking Lyrica?

I am taking 150 mg of Lyrica and am developing little red bumps, itchy and eventually they dry up and disappear. This has been going on for a few weeks. They first appeared on my legs, shoulder and now my neck and nose. I am type 2. Diabetic, have had left foot (bk) amputated and have sever neuropathy. Is this a side affect effect from the Lyrica and should I seek medical attention as soon as possible. Thank you

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello

The knot is muscle tissue damaged following the local trauma.

Should apply alternating warm and cold compresses locally.

If it will become more tender and with signs of infection, should check out with your caring doctor as might need prescription meds.

All the best.
