What Causes Itchy Red Rash Around Ankles?

Hello, I have a collection of fairly large, raised and red rash around both of my ankles. They do not itch, but look awful I have been using an over-the-counter cortisone cream for 2 weeks to no avail. Do you have any idea what it could be? My diet nor medication has changed. Thank you, Dale

Well come to HCM
This could be collagen disease such skin rash could be auto-immune response and this is the self limiting condition and may not need any treatment, this would be fine just wait couple of days everything would be fine soon, hope this information helps, take care.
