I have red itchy spots on my lower legs that have been there for about 4 years. My Dermatologist gave me a topical ointment to use and I have tried 3 or 4 other topical meds over this span of time. The spots are about the size of a pencil eraser some smaller and all not necessarily round. One or two or so may itch and if I rub or accidently scratch it...it will bleed. Seems to have a thin paper like layer over them that is very fragile it will just peel back. They seem to get better with continuous application of the creams, but have never gone away. I haven t put any of the prescribed meds on them for a couple of weeks and they are multiply and I now notice I have one above the knee line and on the top of my foot. Grrrr. Any suggestions as to what it mat be?
