What Causes Itchy Skin With Cracks And Pus Discharge Around Chin And Nose?
i have has an itchy, inflamed, burning sometimes cracked and bloody, sometimes swollen and oil puss on my face for 7 months around the chin and inner cheeks near nose. i was told its rosacea but the lotions make it worse. I have had this before but it has never lasted this long. i changed my diet (hardly eat) and tried coconut oil and everything else i could research, but finally went to ER and they gave me Prednisone even though everything I read said not to that it goes away comes back worse. On my 1st day after finishing my whole dosage its starting to come back. It sincerely has ruined the quality of my life/

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have itchy skin with cracks and pus discharge around chin and nose . The bumps you mention occur due to many reasons like excessive sun exposure or allergy . The other reason of red bumps can be a skin infection. It is very important to find out trigger factor for such condition.
Use face wash containing salicylic acid and apply kojic acid cream twice a day after washing face . Use sunscreen with SPF 15 while in exposure to sun to prevent skin from excessive sun damage. Avoid factor which are responsible for itchiness. You can also apply aloe vera .
-Exfoliate facial skin with water based exfoliate once a week to remove dead skin.
-Drink plenty of fluids and water to hydrate yourself.
-Give cold compresses to reduce itchiness and redness .
If condition persist even after month then consult dermatologist . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics , steroid drugs or isoteritenoin.
