I have been with an itchy skin for more than 2 weeks, I saw my family doctor yesterday and was told could be from body shower product, bounce dry sheets using in the dryer or any vitamins or herbal medicine you are taking. I am not taking any vitamins or herbal medicine and the other 2 is the same I have been using all the time and never had this problem before. can I get a second opinion about that?
You seem to have generalised pruritus. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.
There are many causes of generalised pruritus without skin lesions like diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, anaemia, internal malignancy, kidney and liver diseases. So, your dermatologist may examine and investigate to find out the cause responsible for the disease. And then he may treat and refer to the other specialist according to the internal disease.
Hope this helps.
