What Causes Itchy Vaginal Discharge During Pregnancy?

Im 32weeks pregnant and having small amount of vaginal discharge that is itchy. I ve just got my gram stain result that revealed the ff.. Gram stain result: no gram-negative diplococci seen, pus cells: +++, epithelial cells:+++, gram-positive cocci in pairs: +....what does it mean??? Thank you.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Based on the report you have enclosed, it is clearly stating that you have bacterial infection of the vagina and this is the cause for your itching of vagina and vaginal discharge.
Since you are pregnant and only few medications can be used safely to treat such conditions, kindly consult Gynecologist promptly with the report for further course of management.
Maintain good personal hygiene.
