What Causes Jaw Infection After Removal Of Wisdom Tooth?
A few months ago i had my wisdom teeth taken out. I got dry socket at first, but then i ended up getting a periodontal jaw infection. That was back in August, and its been doing fine. But here recently i ve been having random aches in my teeth and i can feel my jaw pulsating sometimes. What could be going on?
Hi.Thanks for your post on health care magic.Understanding your concern. As per your complain an xray is needed to know the exact cause of pain and infection. It is also to clear that any thing is not left behind.I suggest you to get back to your dentist .After radiographic evaluation, treatment can be made accordingly. Some details needs to be mentioned by you like- whether the extracted tooth was lower or upper? Do you had any more carious or infected tooth on that side of jaw.For the time being you can take antiinlammatory drug like ibuprofen and serratiopeptidase (if you are not sensitive to NASID)to reduce the pain and inflammation.Hope this information helps you. take care.
