Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. Jaw lock, trembling, shaking anxiety feelings are common symptoms of anxiety. When the patient is under a lot of stress or experiencing acute anxiety attack or fear, tremors along with jaw lock may occur. There is actually more than one type of jaw lock and tremor with anxiety, and often anxiety amplifies other conditions that may lead to problems with tremor as well.

The most common link between anxiety and tremors is adrenaline. Anxiety is the activation of your fight or flight response to danger, even when no danger is present. Anxiety and stress also causes muscle tension. Muscle tension puts a great deal of strain on your muscles and in some cases this type of tension can lead to unusual muscle movements. Muscle twitching may occur when the muscle is exhausted from stress, leading to a jaw lock, tremor or tremor-like experience.

Paxil and Buspar are commonly prescribed anxiety medicines and they may not be the reason for the present condition. Anti-anxiety medications, psychotherapy and counseling combined is an excellent cure. Please work with your psychologist / psychiatrist for a solution.
