What Causes Joint Pain And Fever After A Rotator Cuff Surgery?

my husband had rotary cuff surgery one week ago. he was doing so well, barely taking his pain meds. last night he started feeling slightly warm and complained of joint pain. tonight he feels warm but thermometer reads 97.9. he had his first physical therapy appt. today.

It is sometimes common to have a fever during post-operation period. No need to worry. Just try to check for infection in operated place. I suggest you give him tablet Paracetamol.
