Hi,

RA usually affects middle aged persons, joints are symmetrically involved particularly small joints and pain improves with usage of joint. So in your case, if pain is in both side of joints, particularly appears in the morning and improves with day time activity and past history of rheumatic fever then possibility of RA is there. 2 tests will confirm it - Raised ESR/C- reactive protein and anti CCP antibody. X-ray will give better idea of extent of joint damage.Consult orthopedic doctor after getting above reports.

Hope I have answered your query.
