Hi,
Considering the typical symptoms and the results of the examinations that he has done, in my opinion this is
rheumatoid arthritis.
Rheumatoid Arthritis, is a
chronic autoimmune disease.
It is characterized by inflammation of the joints that gets worse in time.
You will have to treat it for a long time regularly to stop inflammation, to relieve symptoms (pain, swelling and
stiffness), and to prevent further joint damage. He should
consult a rheumatologist for deciding a treatment plan.Meanwhile, he can take anti-inflammatory medication such as
Naproxen once daily, also Acetominofen+Codeine phosphate two times a day.
Also he can use topical anti-inflammatory cream, applied to the joints. Some aerobic exercises are also considered important in helping Rheumatoid Arhtritis.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
