What Causes Joint Pain In The Wrists, Arms And Legs?
Hi, I have been having joint pains in my wrist, arms, legs. I ve been to the doctor and had all types of test ran. I m currently waiting on an appointment with a Rheumatologist. Is there anything over the counter I can take to relive my pain while I m waiting.
Hi. Sorry to hear about your sufferings. Although some more information may be needed to reach to a conclusive diagnosis like your age , duration of the complaints, pattern of progression of illness, the joints exactly involved, whether the problem is more in the morning or evening , any history of fever, joint swelling or rash over the body etc. Some basic blood tests may also be required but keeping in view the information you provided, it can be concluded that you are having problem due to rheomatoid arthritis. Also supported by the referral made to a rheomatologist by your primary doctor. Meanwhile if you are waiting for an appointment you may take some pain killer like diclofenac, ibuprofen or disprin. See your primary physician for a prescription if these drugs are not available over the counter in your country. Wishing you best of health Regards.
