What Causes Joints Pain, Fatigue, Chest Pain And Heart Palpitations?

My ASO titer is at 1900. I have had numerous tests and blood work as well as 2 rounds of both oral and IV antibiotics. My echo and cat scans have come back clear...my infectious disease doctor considers me quite the puzzle and my levels keep rising. I have literally been tested for everything under the sun with normal results for everything except the strep titer. My symptoms include; joint pain, fatigue, chest pain, heart palpitations, hair loss and ear pain...I am so confused by all of this.

Hi,

I passed carefully through your question and would explain that increased ASO titer could be related to an active streptococcal infection. Your symptoms could be explained with the chronic infection.

For this reason, I would recommend using Penicilline depo injections each months, in order to prevent possible complication of this infection. You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka,
